The Lily Pond is a very unique shop offering home accessories, tasteful gifts, and
wonderful art. The shop opened its' door in late November 2006. It is located in the
Gateway Plaza at Curry, Alabama which is convenient to several communities within
the surrounding Walker, Winston, Cullman, and Jefferson counties. The quaint shop is
stocked with quality merchandise from regional companies such as CBK, M. Bagwell
Collection, Two's Company, ACK Company, Uttermost, Ganz, Wicks n' More,
Hambersham Candle Company, and much more.
What set's The Lily Pond apart from other businesses is that owner, Terry McKay,
strongly supports local and Southern artists. At the store, you will find a lovely array
of beautiful visual art and creative art using different mediums from Alabama and
Mississippi artist's. Click on the Artist tag for additional comments. Also you will find a
gorgeous selection of exceptional quality gilcee canvas Italian paintings. We've just
recently added Custom Framing by Ken Mobley Framing Shoppe. You may select from
a large selection of mats and frames for that special piece. Ken will have it ready to
pick up at The Lily Pond in just a few days.
We offer several special services for your convenience including Bridal Registry,
a Lay-A-Way plan, Commissioned Art, Personal Photography, and Gift Certificates.

A recent addition to the Gallery has been added. The Tea Room is available by
reservations only to host events such as Bridal Teas, Baby Showers, Business
Meetings, Club Meetings, Sunday School/Prayer groups, little girl, tween, and
teen parties, etc. The Tea Room seats 24 people but additional seating can be added.
We also offer a catering service for brunch, lunch, dinner, or light refreshments,
however, you have the option to bring in your own. The cost is $40.00 the first hour
then $25.00 each additional hour which includes hot tea, coffee, tea cookies, and a
variety of flavorings. Call to book your event today.
Terry is married and has two children. She is a member of First United Methodist
Church in Jasper, Middle School Sunday School Teacher, Board Member of the Walker
County Arts Alliance, Pilot Club of Jasper, Chambers of Commerce of Walker County,
Curry Gateway Retail Association, Kiwanis Club of Jasper, Arley Women's Club, Walker
County Bridal Show Committee, CAP's of Walker County, Jasper Herb Society, and a
participant in the Smith Lake Art's Association as well as involved in other community
and educational projects.
